Tuition Fees & Living Costs

Undergraduate Tuition: CAD $15,000 – $30,000 per year
 Postgraduate Tuition: CAD $18,000 – $35,000 per year
● MBA Programs: CAD $30,000 – $60,000+ per year
● Living Costs: CAD $10,000 – $15,000 per year (higher in Toronto, Vancouver).

Students must show proof of CAD $20,635/year (as of 2025) in living expenses for a study permit.

Language Proficiency Requirements – IELTS / TOEFL

Undergraduate: IELTS 6.0 – 6.5 / TOEFL iBT 80–90
Postgraduate: IELTS 6.5 – 7.0 / TOEFL iBT 90–100
Alternative Tests: PTE, CELPIP, or Duolingo accepted by many universities.
● Some colleges accept MOI (Medium of Instruction) as proof of English
proficiency.

Standardized Tests

Undergraduate: SAT/ACT not usually required.
Postgraduate: GRE/GMAT may be required for MBA and competitive programs.
Law/Medicine: LSAT (Law), MCAT (Medicine).

Application Process & Timeline

1. 12–18 months before intake: Research universities via official portals (OUAC,
ApplyAlberta, etc.).
2. Prepare Tests: IELTS/TOEFL, GRE/GMAT (if required).
3. Prepare Documents: SOP, LORs, academic transcripts, CV, passport.
4. Submit Applications: Directly via university portals.
5. Receive Offer Letter: Conditional or unconditional.
6. Pay Initial Tuition Deposit: To confirm admission.
7. Apply for Study Permit (Visa) via IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship
Canada).
